Payment for products
Payment can be made by telephoning us with your credit card details, or you can select payment method at the checkout, with Visa and Mastercard also.
Bank Transfers are welcome, however, a screen shot or photo of the deposit being confirmed, may be required if the payees bank is other than Westpac, and same day delivery is required.
Once you have items in your cart and proceed to checkout, a drop menu will show for easy selection of your delivery area. This displays the price before you confirm.
Orders requiring delivery will be dispatched only after payment has been made, or any bank transfers are seen as cleared in our account. Unless ordered for delivery, all orders will be held or assembled for collection at your convenience, from the boutique.
We belong to Barter Card member, however delivery charges are required to be purchased separately, if out of Christchurch.
Delivery / shipping policy
Please include a message you wish the recipient to receive, handwritten by us on a card. Any additional requests for specific items in gift baskets can be emailed or telephoned to us on 3217147 or 0273200605
Ensure the street name, and number is correct. To avoid possible delays, please consider any detail that may help, such as the business name, or division because many businesses now share cul de sacs and buildings. If the delivery address by you is incorrect, a second delivery fee may be required.
Artistic Flowers deliver to businesses where at times the recipient is not at work or gone early for the day. Please provide a residential option if possible for delivery in these instances. Delivery for residential addresses can be up to 6.30 pm on busy days.
Please leave a contact ph number for yourself and the recipient with all orders in case a problem arises. We do not enter properties with free roaming guard dogs outside, and at times properties have locked fences, not allowing for an ideal, safe place to leave flowers and gifts. Artistic Flowers use experienced flower couriers or deliver your flowers ourselves, and leave flowers out of the direct sun, at the front entrance, or back door if requested.
Saturday afternoon delivery is available. Not mornings, due to the lack of available courier services. Please select a Friday afternoon delivery option, for Saturday morning events. Sunday delivery is available in some situations.

We design our bouquets to be enjoyed with, or without the wrapping they arrive in, and provide plenty of floral content. However as we approach winter, the selection and quantity of many flowers available to florists does decrease, so please bear in mind all orders are subject to the availability of the products. In some cases, the flower content may be reduced due to the quantity of flowers we purchase, having increasing in price. When this happens, we aim to provide additional materials where suitable.
For customized silk flower products, we can require a minimum time period of 3 weeks for some items, but carry a range of flowers suitable for same day hospital posies etc.

Cancelling fresh flower product orders can only occur up to 5 hours prior to noon on the day of delivery. In those situations, a full refund is given, unless a specific order has taken place and flowers were purchased by Artistic Flowers for an event such as a Wedding.
If due to error the incorrect price has been listed publicly, or in a way that can be misinterpreted, please accept our apologies in advance, and understand a compromise will be sought by Artistic Flowers florists if there is a more than 30% difference.
If a buyer has paid for an order that is no longer available, and the payment has already been successfully processed, Artistic Flowers will contact the customer and offer an alternative, or full refund and a 10 % discount off our flowers services with a future order.
We can not accept flowers or food items that have been opened, back if you change your mind as they are perishable products. When products such as silk flower arrangements have been custom made, we are too limited to re-sell the item designed for your specified tastes, so will work with you if you have a change of heart, and see how we can compromise to make the design more to your preference.
There may be a second delivery fee added on to all orders in the instance of no one being present when the delivery has been specified to be signed for, or an incorrect address supplied to us.
With fresh flowers, we may seek collection within a day until 6pm. We include flower food, and care instructions for our fresh flowers and plants, and after 2 days of receiving your fresh flowers or other items from Artistic Flowers, we will accept no liability of flowers and accompanying perishables, damaged or lost in transit, but take every precaution to avoid this.
Where goods are accepted for credit or refunded they must be delivered at the buyer’s expense into Artistic Flowers in the state they arrived to the recipient in, with the original packaging. Artistic Flowers are not responsible for products should they be misdirected, lost or damaged while in transit, but communicate well with our careful flower couriers.
Any refunds will be refunded to your bank account, retained for credit for future use if requested, or paid in cash.
